The Citizens' Committee on Water & Wastewater is a group of volunteers working to: develop a full, complete and balanced statement of the City of Rio Vista's funding needs; analyze the City's Operating and Financial documents; prepare rational explanations of funding needs and of the consequences of a defeat of the proposed fee increases; and, to inform the Citizens of Rio Vista about the appropriateness of the proposed fee increases and of "voting" procedures under Proposition 218.

Our Mission and Purpose: To inform on and contribute to solutions of our City's fiscal problems. To provide beneficial recommendations to City Council and Staff about these problems and potential solutions.

CCww needs your help!

For the last six months the CCww has undertaken a challenge to develop an equitable water rate increase for Rio Vistans and at the same time produce a rate plan that allows the City to remain solvent. An Agreement was reached between the CCww and the City and is now awaiting resident approval at the December 4th Public Hearing.

The start up of an identical process has now begun to establish an equitable rate structure for the Waste Water rate increase.

How can you as residents of Rio Vista help? Since the inception of CCww there has been a demand for a web page, printing, publications and a PO Box .For a little while the Master Association of Trilogy has endorsed assistance with some of those expenses; that has now changed and the members of CCww have been meeting our expenses out of pocket.
